The rib-cooled, high-voltage H-compact induction motors with a power range from 300 to 2500 kW distinguish themselves as a result of the maximum power output but with a minimum size (minimum envelope dimensions). This leading edge compactness has been achieved – among other things – by using a highly-efficient two-circuit cooling system, which ensures quiet operation. The motors also have an outstanding lifetime as a result of the uniform cooling. Additional reasons for the outstanding reliability include the rugged gray cast enclosure, the high-quality anti-corrosion protection, the optimized bearing design, the MICALASTIC insulation for high-voltage motors – proven over decades of use – and the monitoring equipment and devices integrated as standard.
